OBJECTIVES:
INÉDITO, the development of sustainable natural ingredients for cosmetics and detergents from innovative agri-food by-products, is an industrial research project that focuses on studying new sources of plant by-products to search for, recover and validate natural active ingredients (NAI) that are of significant interest for different industrial sectors.

The project is based on the optimisation of efficient green technology applied to by-products of fleshy fruit and dry fruit, which studies all the production stages at different levels to obtain NAIs in extracts and preparations and it also helps validate these raw materials in the cosmetics and detergent sector. So, not only is the project intended to develop new types of products for these sectors, but also to optimise the processes used to obtain the NAIs that they contain, by using effective and energy efficient technolog.
